Our New Membership & Jhana Training Site

I have been trying to figure out how to focus this website and all of my time, and my life really, on Jhana Training. I pulled some training together here at Jhana8 but this is not really what I had in mind in the Big Picture.

In the Big Picture, I had in mind a dedicated website 100% focused on Jhana Training.

Jhana8 as you can see is a massive 300+ page site dedicated to meditation, Jhana, Abhinna, Non-Dual experiences, and more. But it’s not formatted so well. It was built over time with no particular plan other than sharing the information with people.

JhanaTraining.com takes you logically through the steps you need to reach Perfect Concentration, First Jhana, and traversing the Jhanas.

I’d like to make it a membership website. I’d like more of a sense of community. I think most people practicing at a high level don’t know where to turn. I think they’re mostly isolated, or hanging out in unfriendly places online – Reddit, Discord, some meditation forums that I cringe to mention.

Some Features of JhanaTraining.com:

  • 3 Levels of Training. Clearly defined and done in succession. Includes videos, charts, and some reading.
  • Community Google Meetings 1x per week or every other week.
  • Individual one-on-one video chats 1x per month with each member.
  • Access to my books in PDF format or some other easy (easier) to read format.
  • I’d like the community to beta test some ideas I have for making the Jhana Path easier. More to come on that.

When Will Jhana Training Be Ready?

Started it today. Got the logo up. Got the favicon up. Working on Welcome page.

It will be a month or so. Maybe for the new year????? Probably before. Let’s see what happens! At that time, allt he “Training” links here on this site will link over to the new site.
