Many digital nomads spends months and years in Bali. Add to that the millions of visitors, and it seems there would be a place for a Deep Jhana meditation Retreat in Bali.

Here is some information about how to go about it.
Traveling from Bali (Denpasar) to Krabi, Thailand, involves a bit of planning since there aren’t any direct flights between the two destinations. That’s super odd – isn’t it? How can two places filled with tourists have no direct flights back and forth? I thought for sure there would be one, but I searched Google flights and they can’t find one. Here’s how you can make the journey.
Flight Options
- No Direct Flights: Currently, there are no direct flights from Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) to Krabi International Airport (KBV).
- Connecting Flights: You’ll need to book a flight with at least one stopover. Common layover cities include Kuala Lumpur (KUL), Singapore (SIN), and Bangkok (BKK). Airlines like AirAsia, Scoot, and Thai AirAsia operate on these routes.
Flight Duration
- Shortest Flights: The quickest connecting flights can take around 6 hours and 50 minutes, depending on the layover duration.
- Average Duration: Most flights range between 6 to 12 hours, including layovers. Some options may have longer layovers, so it’s essential to check the total travel time when booking. You don’t want to take an entire day to travel one way to Krabi from Bali. Get the shorter duration trip!
Flight Frequency
- Daily Flights: Multiple flights operate daily from Bali to Krabi with one or more stopovers. The frequency and availability can vary based on the airline and the day of the week. It’s best to choose 1 stopover. This occurs usually in either Singapore or Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Booking Tips
- Compare Prices: Use platforms like Skyscanner, Expedia, or Kiwi.com to compare flight options, durations, and prices. Prices for one-way tickets start at approximately $200, while round-trip fares can be around $230.
- Flexible Dates: If your travel dates are flexible, you might find better deals by adjusting your departure and return dates.
