Deep Jhana Video Training – 2.5 Hours

For those of you who would like to get only the Deep Jhana Video Training course, you can do that on this page. To be honest, the combination package is a better deal and you may not have seen it yet. I’ll add it below. So, you can choose from the package or just the video by itself.

What’s In the Deep Jhana Video?

This is a 2.5 hour long step by step walk through of what you need to know to reach Perfect Concentration (access concentration), and Jhana.

I cover a bit about my history and present state. I talk some about Buddhism and why I don’t think it is the best way to aim for Deep Jhana, especially being a monk in a monestary. We talk about why reaching Jhana is something you might consider, or not consider at all. We go into what it is and what the experiences are like.

We talk about my overall idea about meditation and that it’s more of an experiment than anything.

Everything can be experienced and should be. Most is meaningless, but bizarre experiences are motivating and will help you continue.

I talk about how meditating for 20 minutes per day is the ideal. 20-30 minutes is FINE.

Sitting for 6 hours a day doesn’t mean you’re doing more and will reach Jhana quicker. In fact, it’s highly likely you’ll stop meditating and never get there.

We’ll talk about some of the distractions that occur while meditating. Sweat tickling as it runs down your face. Bugs landing on you. Ants crawling on you. Itchiness. Muscle pain and other discomforts of the body.

There are endless phenomena that arise as you meditate. When you sign up for one of the coaching or online programs – you’ll get this video and the book, 101 Curious and Bizarre Meditation Experiences. This will give you many different odd situations that can pop up as you meditate. I think meditators should experience them, not ignore them immediately as Buddhists teach.

We cover the rather extensive preparation as you wind down your mind and body from what occurred prior – in the case of you meditating at the end or middle of your day. We talk about when to eat, what to do before your meditation, and many other things necessary to prepare yourself for your short meditation session.

This increases the quality of your session and can’t be overlooked.

We talk about what foods not to eat – and how it could distract your during your session.

We talk about exactly how to sit and how to hold your hands. We talk about where to sit. We talk about sitting silently vs. sitting in a group.

We go over a progressive relaxation exercise that calms that mind and body in five minutes.

We cover in-depth, everything you need to do during your meditation session that can lead to Perfect Concentration and Deep Jhana.

The coaching hour is really helpful because after you watch the video, you can clarify anything you need to with Vern on a video chat.

The book is helpful because if you don’t take notes during the video, it can be difficult to remember exactly how to practice. A book enables you to remember pages and go back to them quickly when you need that information.
